Clean lists. Lower bounce rates.
ForgeSend runs a 3-tier verification check on every contact before your campaign launches. Format check, MX record lookup, and live SMTP probe — so you're not burning your domain on bad addresses.
Three tiers of verification
Format check catches malformed addresses before any network call is made. MX record lookup confirms the domain has active mail exchange records and can receive email. Live SMTP RCPT probe verifies the specific mailbox exists without sending a message — the most accurate check available without actually sending. All three tiers run in sequence per contact.
Valid / Risky / Invalid results
Valid contacts pass all three tiers and are safe to send to. Risky contacts pass format and MX checks but the SMTP probe returned an uncertain result — accept-all domains, full mailboxes, or disposable addresses. Invalid contacts fail one or more checks and should be excluded. ForgeSend badges every contact clearly on the list detail page.
Run before every campaign
Trigger verification from the list detail page at any time with one click. The pre-send guardrail checklist warns you if unverified contacts are present before campaign launch. Re-run verification on any list at any time to catch contacts that have become invalid since your last check. Verification runs in the background without blocking the UI.
Protects your sender reputation
Sending to invalid addresses causes hard bounces. Hard bounces damage your sender reputation with Google, Microsoft, and other providers. Keeping your bounce rate below 3% is the industry standard for maintaining a healthy sender score. ForgeSend's verification removes the addresses most likely to bounce before the first send fires.
