FORGESEND VS QUICKMAIL

Cold email that shows you the real cost

QuickMail is strong on cold-email execution and deliverability, but its public pages do not show a line-by-line cost ledger or a Private Deployment path. ForgeSend gives operators a transparent cost ledger, proactive deliverability guardrails, and Private Deployment for businesses that need their data on infrastructure they control.

WHY FORGESEND

Three things QuickMail doesn't do

See what enrichment actually costs

QuickMail has no enrichment ledger. ForgeSend logs every enrichment action — email lookup, verification, or any waterfall step — with its outcome and exact cost, stored per campaign. Export it for client billing or internal review.

Catch deliverability issues before the send

QuickMail surfaces deliverability AI for routing suggestions, but has no proactive pre-send checklist. ForgeSend validates SPF, DKIM, DMARC, warmup, and verification before you can start a campaign — not after a bounce spike.

Full data control, no SaaS dependency

QuickMail is SaaS-only. For businesses that need their data on infrastructure they control, ForgeSend offers Private Deployment — a dedicated setup arranged directly with the team. For operators or agencies who need data sovereignty, this is the only path. QuickMail cannot offer it.

USER FEEDBACK

What QuickMail users say

"

UI is unintuitive — you can't just add prospects to a campaign, you have to add them to a bucket first. Glitchy — twice last week the scheduled process failed.

Capterra verified review, 2026

"

I switched for deliverability but I might switch back. No real-time support during US business hours.

Capterra verified review, 2026

"

Multichannel features can be unreliable in practice, and the interface carries a steep learning curve that slows new users down.

COMMON QUESTIONS

ForgeSend vs QuickMail — FAQ

How is ForgeSend different from QuickMail?

QuickMail has no enrichment cost ledger and no proactive pre-send checklist. ForgeSend logs every enrichment action at exact provider cost before and after it runs, and blocks campaign launch until SPF, DKIM, DMARC, inbox warmup, and list verification all pass. QuickMail is also SaaS-only; ForgeSend offers Private Deployment for businesses that need their data on infrastructure they control, so lead lists and campaign data never leave your infrastructure.

How hard is it to switch from QuickMail to ForgeSend?

Inboxes reconnect via OAuth — Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 connect directly through the standard OAuth 2.0 flow, no SMTP passwords required. Lead lists export from QuickMail as CSV files and import into ForgeSend with automatic header detection and custom field mapping to any merge tag. For any provider outside Google or Microsoft, SMTP configuration is also fully supported with auto-fill presets.

Does ForgeSend have A/B testing like QuickMail?

Yes. ForgeSend supports A/B/C/D/E variant tabs per sequence step — test subject lines and body copy across up to five variants per step. Variants are fully editable before any send fires and can be previewed per lead inside the campaign builder.

Does ForgeSend have inbox warmup like QuickMail?

Yes. ForgeSend warmup runs on a real peer-to-peer inbox network with AI-varied content per interaction, handled automatically in dedicated folders so warmup traffic never appears in your working inbox. Warmup is an optional monthly add-on from $29/month, available after subscribing to any cloud plan. Built-in ramp-up logic increases daily send volume automatically from the point of activation.

How does ForgeSend pricing compare to QuickMail?

ForgeSend's Starter plan is $29/month flat — no per-mailbox charges and no per-seat fees. Enrichment runs at exact provider cost with zero markup, billed per result delivered — every line item is visible in the enrichment ledger before it is spent.

MIGRATION GUIDE

Switching from QuickMail

Inboxes reconnect via OAuth and lead lists import via CSV — the four sections below cover what carries over, what starts fresh, and what to archive before you cancel.

01 — INBOXES

Reconnect your inboxes via OAuth

Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 accounts connect directly via the standard OAuth 2.0 flow — no SMTP passwords are requested or stored. The authorisation takes under two minutes per inbox and tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. For any provider outside Google or Microsoft — Zoho, Yahoo, cPanel, or any custom host — SMTP configuration is also fully supported with auto-fill presets.

02 — LEAD LISTS

Import lead lists from CSV

Export your lead lists from QuickMail as CSV files and import them directly into ForgeSend. Column headers are detected automatically on upload — no reformatting required before import. Map any CSV column to a custom merge tag during import and use it in sequence copy immediately. Re-uploading an updated version of any list upserts existing contacts by email address rather than creating duplicates.

03 — WARMUP AND DOMAIN REPUTATION

What carries over and what starts fresh

Your domain's DNS records — SPF, DKIM, and DMARC — are tied to your domain, not to any sending platform, so they remain valid after switching. QuickMail's warmup network membership does not transfer. ForgeSend warmup starts on its own peer-to-peer network, with built-in ramp logic that increases daily send volume automatically from the point of activation. The pre-send guardrail checklist confirms warmup status before any campaign is allowed to launch.

04 — REPLY HISTORY

Archive your reply history before migrating

Replies logged inside QuickMail stay in QuickMail's platform and are not imported into ForgeSend. ForgeSend begins tracking replies from the point your inboxes are connected. Export your full reply history from QuickMail and archive it before cancelling your account. From migration onwards, every reply is captured in ForgeSend's unified reply inbox with full thread view, intent tagging, and direct reply composition without leaving the platform.
